Qualification Details:
1. Qualification :
i. BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned in the Table below from a recognized University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. Applicants must have a valid GATE2017 or GATE-2018 or GATE-2019 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.
ii. Candidates who have done 5 years integrated course leading to ME/ M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in the relevant discipline may also apply subject to fulfilling other laid down criteria.
iii. Only the above mentioned disciplines will be considered. Courses/ Disciplines with equivalence to the above will not be considered.
iv. Applicants must have a valid GATE 2017/GATE 2018/GATE 2019 scores in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
v. Applicants whose final results are awaited and/or are appearing for the final year/semester examination during 2019, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply. If selected, they will be required to submit the final result indicating completion of degree and percentage of marks (not less than 60%) on or before 30th November, 2019.
2. Training & Placement :
i. The selected candidates will be required to undergo one year orientation training in any of the Training Facilities situated at various locations such as Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, Kaiga Karnataka and Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu etc.
ii. Those trainees who complete one year orientation training successfully, will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and will be liable to be posted at one of the Units/Sites/Upcoming Projects/Offices of NPCIL located in different parts of the country.
3. Stipend During Training
i. Monthly Stipend – 35,000/-
ii. One time Book Allowance – 10,000/-
iii. Mandatory Lodging & Boarding – In accommodation as provided by NPCIL.

Age: 26-31 Years.
Application Fee: Only male candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS categories are required to make a non-refundable payment of ` 500/- towards application fee with the applicable bank charges using State Bank Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online application.
Selection Procedure
1. Shortlisting of candidates for personal interview for the posts of Executive Trainee 2019 will be done by applying ratio of 1:12 and in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2017, GATE 2018 and GATE 2019 Scores.
2. Intimation on interview timing/venue shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates through Email/SMS. Call letter for appearing for interview will be made available for shortlisted candidates in the website for downloading.
3. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview as detailed above. Final selection will be done solely on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview. No weightage will be given to GATE Score during the final selection. The qualifying marks for interview are as follows : Unreserved – 70 % SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD – 60 %.

How to Apply
1. Interviews will be conducted in four cities viz Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru. Candidates are advised to indicate city of preference to appear for interview in the online application form. However, NPCIL reserves the right to allocate City for interview as it may deem fit which will be duly informed to the candidate and no further request for any change shall be entertained in this regard.
2. Registration number provided on the Admit Card for GATE 2017/GATE 2018/GATE 2019, as the case may be, issued by GATE Authorities has to be used for applying in NPCIL. Candidates need to ensure that they fill up the GATE Registration Number correctly and apply for the relevant discipline in NPCIL Online Application Form. Requests for correction in GATE Registration number or Discipline will not be entertained.
3. Candidates must get themselves registered on Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) of IIT while applying in NPCIL.
4. Eligible applicants may apply through online registration system of NPCIL. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/ typewritten applications in hard format delivered in person or by other means will not be entertained. DO NOT SEND any of the documents/ application form etc to NPCIL before interview.
